Who benefits from a boot camp class?
Anyone who wants to see positive change in his/her energy level, physical health and overall well-being will benefit from our classes. If you are apprehensive about becoming active, we incorporate a variety of fitness levels into one class within a non-threatening environment.
What's a typical boot camp class like?
No two workouts are the same! Each boot camp class may include but not limited to: strength training, interval training, circuits, running sprints, sports conditioning, and cardiovascular conditioning. We will use medicine balls, jump ropes, rubber resistance, body bars, and other equipment to keep the class interesting. The first and last classes are dedicated to assessing your strength and endurance. We will complete a timed one mile run/walk where you will set your own pace. We will also complete a one minute push-up and a one minute sit-up test. Each boot camp class will end with an abdominal workout, cool down and stretch. Nutritional guidance is also given throughout the program.
Do I need to wait until the next class starts, since you are currently in the middle of one?
No, don't wait. You can start a class at any time and the session price will be prorated.
What kind of results can I expect?
Everyone responds differently. You will see an increase in strength and cardiovascular endurance over time with improvements in your energy level and body physique. We are certain that you will feel better about yourself and your body!
